Los múltiples colores de un gas incoloro
In this article, Javier de Mendoza, professor emeritus of Organic Chemistry and leader of the ICIQ (Institut Català d’Investigació Química), talks about the modern world´s fascination with everything “green”, including potential energy sources. After providing a brief explanation of the hydrogen color spectrum and its challenges, he talks about discovering the startling amount of research on naturally-occurring hydrogen trapped in the Earth´s subsurface in significant quantities, and what this renewable source of hydrogen could mean for the advancement of science.
