El primer pozo de hidrógeno europeo está en Aragón y puede cambiar el sector energético
Hydrogen is widely considered key in fighting climate change because it is superabundant and can be cleanly converted into energy. However, only when talk of natural hydrogen flowing in the subsurface could we talk of hydrogen becoming an energy source rather than an energy carrier. This article in “El Confidencial” talks of the first European hydrogen well in Aragón, Spain. It goes over why these natural reservoirs have been relatively unknown until now, what they might mean for the energy sector and how legislation could develop. Also, Javier de Mendoza touches on the renewable aspect of natural hydrogen.
